Appraisers and appraisals are an integral part of many real estate transactions. Often agents and brokers do not understand what the appraiser’s job is in their transactions. Additionally, often there is a lack of communication between all of the parties including the buyers and sellers. Several appraisers will give overviews of what their job is and how they must perform it. Time will be provided for students to ask questions and get clarification about some of the more difficult concepts including how dwellings are measured and what type of report has been ordered and is being completed.
